sizing: approx. 3-6 months. Use smaller hook for newborn or premie.
Make 2.
Round 1: Ch 3, sl st tog to form a ring. Ch 3, 11dc in the center of the ring. Sl st tog.
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2dc in each st around. Sl st tog.
Round 3: Ch 3, 4dc in same st, *skip a st, sc, skip a st, 5dc in next st. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.
Round 4: Sl st over 2 sts, ch 1, *skip to sc from previous round and work 5dc in that sc. In the middle st of the 5dc from previous round, sc. Repeat from * around. (Sc in the middle st of 5dc shell and 5dc in sc) Sl st tog.
Round 5: Ch 3, 4dc in the same st, *sc in middle of 5dc shell, 5dc in sc from previous round. Repeat from * and sl st tog.
Round 6: Repeat Round 4.
Round 7: Repeat Round 5.
Round 8: Repeat Round 4.
Round 9: Repeat Round 5.
Round 10: Ch 2, skip a st, hdc, *skip a st, hdc. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.
Round 11: edging: Ch 5, sc in next st. Repeat this around. Sl st tog. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Make 2 ties: ch 60 and fasten off and weave in ends.
