Fluffy Cape and Fluffy Skirt Set

Fluffy Cape
I was given some yarn from my tote swap partner from Crochetville. I used it for this outfit.
I hook
3 oz approx of a 4 oz skein of Baby Bee Lambie Pie Child's Play (color)
Work from top to bottom.
Round 1: Ch 57, sl st tog.
Round 2: Ch 4 then do 68 tr around, sl st tog. (These tr are done around the chain not into the chain)
Round 3: Sl st over 3 sts, ch 3, dc-ch2-2dc (shell) around the st not into the hole of the st, skip 3 tr, *shell (2 DC-CH2-2DC), skip 3 tr. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.
Round 4: Sl st over to ch 2 space from previous round shell, ch 3, dc-ch2-2dc (shell) around the st not into the hole of the st, then *shell (2 DC-CH2-2DC) into ch 2 space from previous round shell Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.
Round 5-11: Repeat Round 4. Fasten off and weave in ends.
This yarn is so soft and luxurious and wonderful. I've never used it before as we don't have Hobby Lobby's up here. It's great yarn and I would use it again in a heartbeat.

Round 4: Sl st over to ch 2 space from previous round shell, ch 3, dc-ch2-2dc (shell) around the st not into the hole of the st, then *shell (2 DC-CH2-2DC) into ch 2 space from previous round shell Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.

I use elastic on all my daughter’s clothes. So I take the ¼ inch elastic, measure it to my daughter and cut. Then I sew the one end into a circle. Then I sc the elastic to the first row of the skirt. Fasten off and weave in ends.
This yarn is so soft and luxurious and wonderful. I've never used it before as we don't have Hobby Lobby's up here. It's great yarn and I would use it again in a heartbeat.
